Catherine MacDonald of Richmond, Virginia has won the University of Arkansas Press’ $5,000 Miller Williams Arkansas Poetry Prize for her poetry collection, Rousing the Machinery, to be published in Spring 2012. The finalists for 2012 are Adam Vines for The Coal Life, to be published in Spring 2012; Robert Gibb for The Empty Loom, to be published in Fall 2012; and Annette Spaulding-Convy for In Broken Latin, to be published in Fall 2012.
